The Brigham recreation committee offers a variety of courses and activities, including yoga, Zumba, tai-chi, dance and other courses for the general public.<\/span> The programming is published in the municipal bulletin in the spring and fall.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Facebook Comit\u00e9 des loisirs<\/a><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Brigham Soccer League” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column el_class=”center”]\"\"[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In summer, the recreation committee organizes a soccer league for children aged from 4 to 12 years old. <\/span>The children are separated into 3 groups according to their ages. <\/span>Parents and teens are welcome to volunteer as coaches!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The groups<\/h2>\n

Group 1: Introduction to soccer
\n<\/span>Aimed at children ages 3 to 5 who live their first experience of team play. <\/span>The courses last 45 minutes and are designed to familiarize the child with the ball and the basics of soccer and group play. <\/span>All this is done using games where the contribution of the parent can be solicited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Group 2: Intermediate Group
\n<\/span>For children from 5 to 7 years old. <\/span>Classes last 1 hour and end with a 10-15 minute soccer game. <\/span>Participants develop their skills in handling the ball through games and exercises. <\/span>They also enhance their ability to play as a team.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Group 3: Advanced Group
\n<\/span>For kids who have played soccer (over 7 years old) and who are familiar with basic soccer rules. <\/span>The duration of the courses varies between 1 h and 1 h 30.
