The library offers two computers and wireless high-speed Internet access and a multifunction printer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Library shedule<\/h2>\n

Monday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
\nWednesday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
\nSaturday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The book collection<\/h2>\n

More than 4000 books, reviews and other documents are available on site.<\/span> An English section is also available.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Brigham Library is a member of the R\u00e9seau Biblio du Qu\u00e9bec, Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie section.<\/span> Its subscribers have access to more than 600,000 titles of all kinds via the “Inter Biblio” service, in both French and English.<\/span><\/p>\n

Membership<\/h2>\n

Membership is free for residents of Brigham.<\/span><\/p>\n

For eligible non-residents: please contact the Coordinator for more information.<\/span><\/p>\n

Loan Policy<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

7 documents per user.
\nThe duration of the loan is 3 weeks.
\nNB. There is a $ 2 fee to loan books from the “best seller” section (3-week loan)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Printing services<\/h2>\n

Library users have access to a multifunction printer for printing, photocopying and scanning.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to being operated from the two computer in the library, you can operate this device from your laptop, your tablet, and even from your smartphone.<\/span><\/p>\n

A user guide is available on site.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nBlack and white printing: $ 0.05<\/span>
\nDigitization: free<\/span><\/p>\n

History<\/h2>\n

The Brigham Municipal Library was established in January 1992 and has benefited from sustained investments over the years.<\/span> A volunteer committee has been in charge of the library and its management from the beginning.<\/span>\u00a0A group of volunteers meet each year to provide services to the public, to inform subscribers of new services, to answer questions and to assist them in their researches.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Biblio-Aidants<\/h2>\n

The Biblio-Aidants program now offers 15 thematic workbooks free of charge .<\/span>
\nNetwork libraries now offer information and comfort to members of their community.<\/span> Nearly 600 titles in the Biblio-Aidants Collection, including several books in digital format, are accessible through your municipal library or through the interlibrary loan service offered by your library.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
