Brigham Soccer League
In summer, the recreation committee organizes a soccer league for children aged from 4 to 12 years old. The children are separated into 3 groups according to their ages. Parents and teens are welcome to volunteer as coaches!
Group 1: Introduction to soccer
Aimed at children ages 3 to 5 who live their first experience of team play. The courses last 45 minutes and are designed to familiarize the child with the ball and the basics of soccer and group play. All this is done using games where the contribution of the parent can be solicited.
Group 2: Intermediate Group
For children from 5 to 7 years old. Classes last 1 hour and end with a 10-15 minute soccer game. Participants develop their skills in handling the ball through games and exercises. They also enhance their ability to play as a team.
Group 3: Advanced Group
For kids who have played soccer (over 7 years old) and who are familiar with basic soccer rules. The duration of the courses varies between 1 h and 1 h 30.
