Your municipal council
Roles and responsibilities of the municipal Council
The municipal council represents the municipality and takes administrative decisions on the orientations and priorities of the Municipality. The municipal council is composed of a mayor and six councilors. The administration of the municipality is governed by administrative rules clearly defined in the law. The elected representatives can manage their municipality only in compliance with these rules, unlike the private enterprises which can fix them at their convenience, according to the management methods it deems appropriate.
The Council takes decisions in the form of resolutions during public meetings.
